2025 Salute to Service 4v4 Hockey Invitational Registration Information 

Welcome to the 2025 Salute to Service 4v4 Hockey Invitational! Here's all the information you need to register your team and participate in this exciting event.

### Registration Fee:

- Team Registration Fee: $1575 per team

- Deposit $500

 NOTE: SPOT WILL NOT BE RESERVED UNTIL DEPOSIT IS PAID.

### Registration Process:

1. Team Registration:

   - Ensure your team is registered before the deadline.

   - When Registering, Select the armed forces branch of choice with a description of why you should be chosen to represent that branch. Example: I served in the Army for 15 years and did 4 tours. 

2. Player Registration:

   - In the confirmation email, you will be provided a link to share with each team member to register for the tournament. 

   - Deadline for roster submission and final payment: May 24th.

### Tournament Format:

-Format:4 on 4

### Rules:

1. Game Periods:

   - 2 – 17-minute running time periods

   - Last 2 minutes of a game will be stop time if there is a 2-goal differential 

2. Team Setup:

   - Long change in the 1st half, shortchange in the 2nd half

   - Roster size (Minimum) 7 skaters + 1 Goalie / (Maximum) 10 skaters + 2 Goalies

   - Rosters must be turned in before the tournament. Players not playing in a Round Robin game cannot participate in the playoffs. 

3. Gameplay Rules:

   - No Checking

   - No Offsides

   - No Icing

   - Face off after every whistle

   - Slap shots encouraged

4. Penalties:

   - Coincidental Penalties go down to 3 on 3 or 2 on 2

   - Penalties will be 1:30 (Running Time)

5. Uniforms:

   - Every team MUST have custom armed forces matching uniforms supplied by GOYA SPORTS

6. Other Rules:

   - Ice resurfaced after every 2 games

   - No more that 2 coaches on the bench

   - If game is tied at the end of regulation, 2-man shootout. If still tied, continue shootout until a winner is determined.

   - 3 Minute warm-up

   - Absolutely no Fighting! Players will be suspended for the remainder of the tournament.

   - In Quarterfinals, Semi-Finals, or Finals if tied, 5-minute running time 3 on 3. If still tied, proceed to a 2-man shootout.

   - Over and back rule on a delayed penalty

### Mercy Rule: 

- During Round Robin games: No mercies

- During Playoff games: 8 Goal Mercy Rule. If there is an 8-goal differential, the game is immediately over.
