Salute to Service Hockey 4v4 Invitational
The Salute to Service 4v4 Veterans Hockey Invitational is a prestigious hockey tournament dedicated to honoring and supporting military veterans. The event features a unique 4v4 format and brings together teams representing various branches of the armed forces for a weekend of competitive hockey action and camaraderie. Teams compete in a 4v4 format, that will bring a unique and exciting twist to the traditional game of hockey. The matchups will guarantee fast-paced, goal-scoring, and spectacular save-making moments on the rink.
Proceeds from the event will go towards the Michigan Wounded and Returning Warrior Program, founded by Gary Tanner, the 2012 Michigan Veteran of the Year. The program focuses on life-impacting assistance and support for Michigan military families and veterans. The program ensures that 100% of all donations go directly to veterans in need, exemplifying a commitment to making a meaningful difference in the lives of those who have served.
Motor City Veterans Hockey Association has been added as a second charity where 80% of the members are veterans and 5% are still active. They offer individuals with military affiliation a structured environment to play the game of ice hockey, providing recreational therapy and camaraderie for veterans and their families. The program was created to help education, awareness and advocacy for veterans dealing with both physical trauma rehabilitation, as well as recovery from "Invisible Wounds," including post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and traumatic brain injury (TBI).

Dates: Youth Divisions and Adult Divisions (July 19-21st)
Location: Buffalo Wild Wings arena, Troy, Michigan
Divisions: Youth (2015-2006 birth years) | Adult (Pro Division to D league, 30+, 40+ and 50+)
Special Division: Military-only Division in the Adult category for active and non-active military members.
Custom Jerseys: Teams in both Youth and Adult Divisions will have custom jerseys representing the branches of the military (ARMY, NAVY, AIR FORCE, MARINES, COAST GUARD)

Team Fee: $1500 per team
Deposit: A $500 deposit is required to secure your spot
